About Christy

“Christy inspired me to move beyond my professional comfort zone and pursue a new business venture.  Her wise and frank counsel holds me accountable to being the person I want to be.  I am constantly in awe of her courageous nature and her many gifts.  She is a woman of action.”

- Traci Fitzhugh, M.D., F.A.C.O.G

As the eldest daughter of one of the first models of color in Mademoiselle and Seventeen magazines, as well as an NFL hall-of-famer, carving out a path of passion, purpose and world changing is in Christy’s blood.

But fulfilling that legacy took work. Like many young women, Christy struggled to overcome insecurity and people pleasing, and it was not until a traumatic event in her life forced her to do the difficult inner work of breaking free from emotional obstacles that she was ready to step powerfully into her role in the world.

Christy’s Ah-Ha! moment came with the realization that “today” did not have to be her “tomorrow.” That she had the unique and once-in-a-lifetime privilege and responsibility to design her tomorrow with intention – and in ways that enabled her to live authentically and become an example and source of support for others.

Christy’s deep-seated desire to make a difference – especially for women – inspired Christy to step back and consciously re-imagine and re-design her role as a woman, wife and mother. The outcome of that process is her company, Christy Little Jones, LLC, a coaching practice and resource center that challenges women to make the monumental step toward discovering who God has created them to be and a more intentional style of living what they believe to have the relationships they desire.

Through her work as a speaker, writer and coach, Christy encourages and equips women to be authentic, discover their identity, embrace their power and influence, and, even more, to wake up to the truth that we each have a mandate to show up real and ready for our lives – to consciously and intentionally design every day in a way that inspires action and influences change in ourselves and those around us.

Christy earned her B.S. in Communications from Syracuse University and her Master’s Degree in Health Promotion Management from American University. Prior to becoming a coach and educator, Christy had the pleasure of working with a variety of stellar organizations, including the City of Alexandria, Virginia; Inova Healthsource; Northern and Virginia Community College; Chartered Health Plan; Black Entertainment Television; and Providence Hospital. Additionally, she served as a speaker and health educator for The National Kidney Foundation and The United States Postal Service, and was the program director for Kaiser Permanente’s Operation Zero program; a anti-obesity program for children.

Most importantly as the wife to Adrian Jones, mother to four: Skye 8; Blaze 7; Hayes 6 and AJ 26 and daughter of the Most High God, Christy is highly passionate about life, her family, her relationships and her purpose. In her spare time, Christy likes to say, “WHAT SPARE TIME??!” and yet sets an example of putting herself first in order to be the best woman, wife, mom and entrepreneur she can be each day. Above all, Christy is awed by the power of women to self-determine their paths, while influencing the paths of their partners, sisters and the generation of world changers they are raising.
